ReflectSpace is hosting Shepard Fairey in his solo exhibit called “Peace is Radical”

January 20 – April 14, 2024
Opening Reception: Saturday, January 20, 2024, 6:30-8:30pm

Shepard Fairey, the renowned artist and social activist, captivated audiences with his latest exhibition, “Peace is Radical.” Opening its doors to over 400 attendees on January 20th at ReflectSpace in Glendale Central Library, the exhibit serves as a testament to Fairey’s unwavering commitment to promoting peace, harmony, and social justice through his iconic artwork.

As visitors navigate through the “Peace is Radical” exhibit, they are invited to engage with Fairey’s art on a deeper level, contemplating the complexities of the issues he addresses and the potential for positive change. Through his bold imagery and thought-provoking messages, Fairey challenges us to envision a world where peace, justice, and equality reign supreme—a world where art has the power to spark meaningful social transformation.

In a time of uncertainty and unrest, “Peace is Radical” stands as a beacon of hope and a reminder of the profound impact that art can have on shaping our collective consciousness. Through his visionary artwork, Shepard Fairey continues to inspire us to strive for a better, more just world—one where peace is not just a dream, but a radical reality.

ReflectSpace is partially funded by Glendale Library, Arts & Culture Trust. Thanks to the generous donors who support GLACT, they helped to make this exhibit possible. The exhibit runs until April 14, 2024.
